How Our Monitoring Solution Works

Verticalidad-Torres

1. Tower Nodes

The system includes a series of nodes mounted at specific heights on the structure to be monitored, capable of measuring inclination. The nodes are powered by 24 Vdc and communicate via RS485. Wind data (speed and direction) is also obtained from sensors via RS485 and powered by 24 Vdc.

2. EDGE GATEWAY

A software module implemented in the Edge Gateway is responsible for periodically polling the node data, calculating the relative deviation based on the distance to the previous node or the ground, and finally computing the accumulated deviation over the entire tower height. Rotation data is absolute for each sensor node.

3. Cloud and Data Visualization

Data communication and remote configuration with the Cloud Gateway are performed via cellular or satellite connectivity depending on site availability. Through an application, real-time and historical data stored in the Cloud Gateway can be viewed, as well as device, user, and email alert configurations managed.

4. SCADA Connectivity

Data can also be queried and configurations updated via Modbus TCP or RTU (RS 485 or 232) for integration with SCADA systems.
