A solution for the detection and surveying of underground structures

Underground mapping is performed combining two nondestructive techniques that enable surveying underground facilities without digging. In this way, the possibility of causing damages by third parties are eliminated and accidents during ground movement work by road construction machinery are reduced. The GPR Ground Penetrating Radar is a geophysical nondestructive method that allows to locate buried facilities like pipelines, cables, cracks, cavities or holes, water and archaeological vestiges.

The service is provided in two modalities:

1. Real time surveying: detection is performed using one or both techniques and the outline of the detected object is drawn on the surface.

2. Real time surveying and post processing: Georeferencing of buried facilities is performed and a plan based on the work is drawn. In some cases, a dron may be used to capture images from the sky. By means of underground mapping, a detail of buried structures is obtained, which allows to:

Draw a plan based on the work facilities.
Prevent damage to third parties
Performed activities within the framework of Norm PAS 128.
